There are many concept albums I like, but most of the time the concept at best serves as a gimmick that motivates me to listen to the album in one go. The Oubliette's take on dementia, by contrast, I find truly moving. On top of it, this is stellar progressive metal. c_c_chaos

I've loved Katsionis's work since his days with Firewind. His Stray Gods album was a little too Miaden-sounding for me, but this album does the Queensryche/Fates Warning thing right. You can hear an influence, but it is its own entity that can stand alone and should be promoted more because everyone deserves to hear this! ewilt15

The songs are masterfully composed and flow together beautifully, and the orchestration is exactly how I want metal orchestration to sound: full, playable by a real orchestra, and just as important to the music as the vocals, drums, guitar, and bass are. tonycordeshimself
